Hello fellow car enthusiasts,
We have a fantastic and fun opportunity to do what we love in a big way: show off our cars and tell our stories.
Working with Texaco, advertising agency Anthology Marketing will be shooting a TV commercial and at least 10 print ads very soon that could showcase your car and your passion for that car. Here is a rough example and explanation of what this is all about (Texaco-Casting Specs). Anthology will need a shot of you and your car (not necessarily together) for casting purposes. Whether you have a 100 point Jaguar XKE, a tuned Subaru WRX, a customized F150, a lowrider, a hot rod or a rusty old BMW 2002 it makes no difference. Men, women, all are encouraged to apply, as long as you’re of driving age.
If you love your car, then you qualify.
If you are chosen, you will be part of either a TV or print shoot and compensated with a couple hundred dollars (exact amount yet TBD), possibly in the form of a Texaco gas card. In the end, this is an opportunity for the people of Hawaii to see your car and see how much you love it.

We are searching for a wide range of people and their vehicles, which may include:
- A classic car owner
- A work truck owner (farming, construction, etc.)
- A distinctively customized car owner
- A standard commuter’s sedan and/or SUV owner
- A convertible owner
- A lifestyle vehicle (used to carry equipment to various adventures) owner
We are open to male, female and real-life couples. We are also open in terms of age, as long as they are old enough to drive. The primary attributes we are looking are that they 1) look like “real people,” preferably with some character, 2) are comfortable in front of a camera and 3) have a bond with their car. They should love their car, and show pride in it.
People can represent many types of drivers – from the outdoor enthusiast who loves surfing and camping to the busy mom that runs the kids/dogs around town. From the practical base sedan owner to the eccentric person with a funky car. We’re looking for all types of people and all types of vehicles.
